Fast as a shark
How can you help customers faster than anybody else?
The answer may seem pretty obvious, but reality is that sometimes your patience is put to the test. And for someone like me, not equipped with ANY patience at all, that is hell. So I try to make sure nobody has to wait too long. I want to help everybody ASAP. If only so I can continue working on that damn Sudoku in that sketchy porn mag I bought at the gasstation last night.

Quality and pricing of bandmerchandise
Europe demands decent merchandise
American bands come to Europe to make money. Usually that’s the case and there’s nothing wrong with that. Nowadays kids don’t even buy your record anymore, but they will come to your show and buy merchandise. Merchandise is a great way to make cash. But remember your fans want decent merchandise. That means no poor quality T-shirts which cost us 25 euros. By the way, all European mothers would hate you for selling T-shirts that come out of the washing machine looking like a half-eaten piece of Swiss cheese the day after your show. You wouldn’t want that to happen, would you? The wrath of Euro-Mothers Against Poor Merch (EMAPM) is kinda persistent you know.

Merchbooth tips
Make it look BIG
Europeans like to see a BIG booth. Big booties are cool too, but that’s not what we’re talking about here. Back to the merchandisestand. Even if you only have three shirts and a sticker for sale, make it look big. Because everybody must know that you sell merch. Oh, and please don’t tell people to buy T-shirts between two songs, that’s embarrassing. You are doing a liveshow, I tell people to buy stuff.
